Surge Protection in Mooinooi
Mooinooi keeps us busy with surge protection, and the work is done to SANS 10142-1 every time, not only when a certificate is needed.
A surge arrestor needs a sound earth to divert anything, which is why the earth reading is taken before the unit is fitted.
Send us the details and we will arrange an assessment in Mooinooi, with the written quote in your hands before any work begins.
What the job covers
- Main board surge arrestors, correctly rated
- Second-stage protection on sensitive circuits
- Earth and neutral bonding checked at the same time
- Plain advice on what a plug-in protector can and cannot do
About Mooinooi
Mooinooi work is handled by the same Rustenburg crew that covers the rest of the platinum belt — smallholdings and workshops along the Boschhoek road, many running three-phase machinery.
